A surprisingly lovely hotel located...

Liked: Beautifully furnished. Comfortable shared sitting area upstairs. Responsive hostess who lives on site. Our room was attractive, not fussy, and the king size bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: A very small thing. For sure not anything that would keep me from returning.I wish the continental breakfast included items unsweetened instant oatmeal and plain yogurt for those who prefer less sugar, and tea other than black tea.

Disliked: The person on the floor above me paced all night off and on and you could hear it Maybe ask for a 3rd floor room or a room with no one above you. There wasn’t many guests that night

Peaceful

Liked: This was great little place to stay, for the hotel being 194yrs old it was great, peaceful, we felt like we were the only ones there at times. The quiet little town was fantastic short walk down the block to Harpers Cafe, GREAT quaint place to get breakfast. Also, we visited the famous HotDog Johnnys just a few mins down the road on our way out, we also had a great dining experience at Tiptons Tavern. The hotel did have great set up for continental breakfast and drinks available. It was a pleasurable experience. We would definitely return.
