Liked: Upon arrival to room 506, there was an unpleasant smell, similar to a smoke-filled room. The wallpaper was peeling, and the view from the window faced the hotel’s deteriorating walls and inner courtyard. In the bathroom, there was no place to hang the shower hose, so it had to be held in hand while showering. We stayed for four nights – during this time, the bed linen was never changed, only neatly re-tucked. The trash was taken out, but the table was never cleaned. During our stay, my wife and I were bitten by some kind of animal – we ended up with many itchy bumps on our bodies, and we suspect these were bed bugs. The location is excellent – practically in the city centre, surrounded by restaurants and other amenities. However, in terms of cleanliness and hygiene, the hotel left a very poor impression. The hotel offers breakfast for an additional fee, but after speaking with other guests, we learned they are overpriced and not tasty.

Great option for a visit...

Liked: Good-sized room, clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff.Lovely old building with lots of nice features.Plant-based milk provided at breakfast, so suitable for vegans.
Disliked: Some of the communal areas were a little run down - refurbishment was taking place while we were there.The breakfast was a little on the basic side - some fresh fruit and veg would be a welcome addition.

Liked: The location is perfect near cafes and metro. The staff was very helpful and the hotel was clean.
Disliked: No a/c and needs renovation.
