The Moulin Rouge was the...

Liked: If you are having a night out at the Moulin Rouge the location is superb as it is literally across the road.
Disliked: There was no air conditioning. The day we spent there it was 35 degrees Celsius and we were dripping with sweat as we were getting ready for our night out. It made for a very uncomfortable nights sleep. There was a portable fan in the room but it did very little in the way of cooling.

Very nice

Liked: Location is fantastic, opposite of Moulin Rouge and nearby a lot of nice little restaurants. Room was good; clean and comfortable bed. Staff at reception was very nice.
Disliked: It was very hot in Paris and the room didn't have A/C but a fan. I didn't mind too much but if I would've stayed many nights, I would've preferred A/C.

Liked: The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great for exploring the neighborhood.
Disliked: Although good location, the location was very loud. So on a very warm evening where you had to keep the windows open, it meant that we didnt sleep very well because it was so loud from the businesses below.

Liked: There was nothing wrong with this stay, but the neighboring shops were not good. I was glad I was only there for one night.
Disliked: The neighborhood is seedy and very risque. Not family-friendly at all. But maybe that is what some people want just down from Moulin Rouge.

Liked: Staff were wonderful and very helpful finding things
Disliked: No AC and it was very hot. They did have an oscillating fan in the room

Liked: Excellent location, friendly staff. Breakfast was basic but okay. As we noticed in the reviews, it's quite noisy here. We stayed in May, so it wasn't an issue, but the rooms lack air conditioning – this must be problematic in summer. For a 3-day stay, the property was adequate.
