For the location and quality...

Liked: The street was a narrow, pretty much dead street which is in The Marais, at the edge, next to Centre Pompidou; a benefit is that it is pretty quiet at night if sleep is important to you. There is a lot to do and see within a short walk with many great neighborhoods including Notre Dame, Les Halles, the Latin Quarter and, of course, The Marais itself. The hotel is charming and the underground stone breakfast room is dungeon-like but a very cool place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. Rooms are well appointed, small by American standards but not by euro-standards. The staff could not have been much friendlier: We plan to stay there again.
Disliked: The breakfast was very inexpensive but not especially great, especially in the city that is home to French cuisine. This is a boutique hotel, so there are not many amenities, but that did not matter much to us.
