Really great value and comfortable...
Liked: Room was a good size and the shower was one I could actually turn around in without bashing my elbows. The HVAC worked well and security was good.
Disliked: The shower and bathroom floors were very slippery when they got wet. It would have been nice to have snack options at the hotel, but there were a number of places very close.

Avoid this hotel! The only...
Liked: The only positive about this hotel is the location.
Disliked: Avoid this hotel! The only positive is the location. Unprofessional, rude and dishonest, staff.I come to Munich every month and this was truly my worst hotel experience.I entered my room, the noise from the surrounding building work was unbearable, even with windows closed. I rang Reception to ask for a quieter room but the Manager (owner?) was defensive and antagonistic, instead of listening to my complaint. Finally, he assured me that if I wish to leave he will agree to a cancellation and won’t charge me.Having vacated the room and back at Reception with my suitcase he refused to do the cancellation or give me anything in writing. Instead he gave me the phone number for the booking site and his account number and told me that he would confirm with them that he accepts the booking.I knew then that I would never get my money back for this 5-night booking as it was a non-cancellable last-minute booking, so the cancellation could only be done by him and this is precisely what the booking site told me over hours of emailing + phoning. If I’d have known I was being defrauded, I would never have vacated the room.I paid for an alternative hotel booking and needless to say, Hotel Bayer’s never replied to my emails and I’m now making an official complaint with booking.comThe manager, A.H. Erkal, is a horrible, heartless, dishonest crook. I advise anyone to avoid this hotel, especially if you are female. I know that coward of a man would never speak so abusively to a man as he did to me.

Liked: Location was very central. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a room with 3 beds. Beds were comfortable and sheets were clean. Slippers and towels were clean too. Definetely recommend!
