Quaint boutique hotel with nice...

Liked: Short walking distance from station and town centre. Breakfast was simple but delicious and staff were friendly. We were able to check in early which was very convenient as we had all our bags.
Disliked: The room is small, but this didn’t bother us. The bathroom is split between toilet and shower which means an awkward walk with between to wash your hands.

Hotel is NOT recommend because...

Liked: The location is great and the nearby private paid parking is very useful in this city centre position.
Disliked: The room we were allocated was NOT a 'superior room' as requested and paid for in advance being well smaller than the 16 sq mtr size quoted with nowhere to open suitcases except on the small floor area. A very disappointing room to spend two nights in! Cedric(?) the receptionist was very unhelpful and off hand with everyone he dealt with.

Liked: A beautiful little hotel with friendly staff and nicely designed rooms. A great part of town, close to the station but amongst quiet historic streets. Having breakfast in the leafy courtyard garden was a real treat.
