Overpriced for what it was...

Liked: Arrived late after a long days travel in 30 degree heat. The second sentence out of the night porters mouth was credit card barely glancing at passport.Lift was a broom cupboard not for anyone suffering claustrophobic tendencies and the staircase is a narrow stone winding with lights turning on as you go ! Not for anyone with mobility issues Room was clean and Bea were comfy but there was a weird mould smell and I could hear the room next door through the wall. Good air conditioning, breakfast was okay and the staff I met on subsequent days were friendly enough. O tooOf charging me three nights in advance they also charged me a night as a holding deposit which I had to get booking.com to intervene to get back as theNight porter I formed me that would only be returned after I left the hotel !? He was quite unpleasant to talk to.
Disliked: The extra night charge as a holding deposit, the unfriendly way the staff member demanded a credit card at 8.30pmAt night and told even I didn’t like the room I would be charged full price !! The weird mould smell in the room and the coffin sized lift.

Liked: The location of the hotel was perfect and the bed was really comfortable. The room was not that big but for us it was perfect.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: The breakfast and location were good.
Disliked: The elevator was super small, the room was small, the cleaning service did not do a good job, our towels were not even changed after the service. The first night I could not sleep at all, the room was hot, not enough oxygen, when I brought up the issue to the front desk attention, the lady told me that was because the AC was off, now it is on!!!!I asked two single beds instead of one double one for my daughters and they said they would take care of it, but after we returned to the room, nothing had changed so I assumed it was because the front desk clerk was a French speaking person and misunderstood my request.

Would book again.

Liked: Excellent location. Room was on the small side but comfortable enough for a couple. The staff was very nice.
