Liked: Great location! The hotel is very close to Vondelpark, and there are many cafes, restaurants, and bars nearby.I also liked that the hotel had a spacious room with a big window. We appreciated that the building had an elevator.The room also has a small desk in case you also need to work.
Disliked: The shower was bigger than expected, but if you shower at the same time as other people staying at the hotel, expect many temperature fluctuations. I got burned a few times, so the next days I just showered closer to midnight.

Lovely location, good value for...

Liked: We have stayed here before and remembered it fondly. We love Vondel Park and the neighborhood. We appreciate how close it is to art museums that we love and wonderful little restaurants. The area is very walkable and safe.
Disliked: I failed to notice that the hotel no longer serves breakfast which was a definite minus. I was very sad to see that the beautiful parlor and breakfast room are walled off now. That was part of the charm of this little hotel. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable.....but the room is shabby, needs more fresh paint. If breakfast is not available, have better in-room coffee and some snacks. The room was very clean but we did not get maid service everyday, and sometimes the trash piled up.

Liked: The room was cozy in a great location! The shower was roomy and the pressure was very nice. The room was a little cold when we arrived, but we turned on the heater until the temperature was fine.
Disliked: Unfortunately the room wasn't very soundproof and you can here very well people passing on the corridors. The bathroom vent was impossible to torn it off so if was kind of noisy.
