Liked: I loved the building itself - the architecture was stunning and the way that it was decorated went right along with the whole feel of the place. The espresso bar in the lobby was wonderful. The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. Our room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. If I ever need to stay in the area again this would definitely be my first choice!
Disliked: The Pan American Grill and Brewery had pretty slow service. The food was so-so and took a long time to get to our table.

Everything good about the experience, except the attached restaurants closing early. Would have been nice to eat there after concert.
Liked: Very clean. Huge room. Valet were very nice people.
Disliked: Not sure if owned by the hotel, but restaurants/bars attached to the hotel closed between 9-10.

Liked: Location is easy to find and valet parking takes all the hassle out of trying to find a parking space.
Initially I thought the hotel looked a bit seedy and unkempt but in actual fact the docor, carpets and general condition is done to reflect the times in the last century when this hotel was in the hub of the society of the day
Having a walk through to the next door bar and restaurant was a bonus and a 10% discount is also given
Disliked: For the one night we stayed there was nothing adverse to report

Liked: 1 bedroom suites are amazing...Art Deco feel. Fully appointed with dishwasher, stainless steel appliances, modern bathroom, clean and nice comfy bed
Disliked: Breakfast(continental) ran out of food with an hour left before it ended

Liked: the front desk staff was very nice and the valet parking was great even though it was very expensive.
Disliked: Breakfast was fair. The lady that was working breakfast was on her phone the whole time both of the mornings I was there. very unprofessional for such a nice facility.

Liked: Chicken wings superb. Bar staff very helpful indeed
Disliked: Could have been more helpful in advising us that Niagara Falls and the airport could be reached using a $5 daily pass as a cheap and perfectly acceptable alternative to taxis

Liked: Beautifully restored old hotel in downtown area. Lovely room with large bathroom. Art Deco style.
Disliked: So-so gym and valet parking not up to 4 star rating.

Liked: The suite was amazing! Larger than it appeared on the photos, and well worth the price. The hotel restaurant and bar have an amazing old fashion look. Nice location to walk to the March madness.

Liked: The decore of the room.
Disliked: I did not know that there were fees still to be added to the"final" price shown to me on tje website so when I tried tocheck in the hotel let me know about the fee and the fee caused thetotal charge to go $11 over my credit card limit.I Offered to give thema 2nd credit card so that they could split the cost and without anyattept to escalate the situation maybe to a manager or something, thedesk clerk just told me absolutely not(the demeanor was almost as ifthey just didn't want my business). The only thing he tried to dowas get a cheaper room so that it would all fit on the same card. Thenas im standing at the desk trying to figure out a solution to theproblem, once again I got the impression that I was not wanted.becausehe offered no suggestions and just sat there looking back at me.Ultimately I left as I thought about what could possibly work and then Icalled the hotel back to find out if I could have someone else use theircard to check us in then just check out using my originally intendedcard to check out since the fee would not be a part of the actualcharge. And that is how I was able to check in. I feel that the deskclerk should have offered that option to me instead of me having tofigure it out for myself. This was a late Valentine's day with mygirlfriend and this issue delayed my check in about 2 hours. Then when Igot in the room it smelled like fish. Since I already had the impressionthat I was not wanted there I didn't even bother them with thecomplaint at first because at this point I only had a few minutes beforemy girlfriend was gonna be showing up so I went and bought some airfreshener and tried my best to mask the odor (thinking that maybe one ofthe nearby rooms had recently cooked recently or something.

Liked: The water pressure in the shower was great that was about the only highlight of our stay there. The coffee shop in the lobby was also great.
Disliked: This place could be cleaner. The room wasn't bad but it was freezing no matter how high we turn the heat it would not seem to warm up only one extra blanket in the room. Our room was close to the elevators which every time the elevator went up or down we could hear it not the best in the middle of the night when you're trying to sleep but can't because you're freezing. When I mentioned that to the girl at the front desk when we checked out she didn't seem too concerned. Would not recommend this hotel
