Liked: Nice pool, not too bad for catching the local bus and i liked the scorpion in our room yes :-)
Disliked: NO wifi, no fridge, dogs next door barking literally ALL night, two or three rabbits being kept with no food or water in the corridor behind the cafe was sickening, and the breakfast was edible one morning only, the rest it wads inedible. I did like the scorpion that crawled out of my suitcase though, he was cute...i put him outside needless to say!

Having stayed there we should...

Liked: Breakfast was oddly included for only one bed in our double room, and last year when we had two beds by the pool, no breakfast was offered. It was ok, scrambled eggs and the inevitable black beans! Next door is a very nice friendly lady who offers a more inspiring breakfast and greeted us warmly after a year's absence, which was not overwhelming at Ashley. However the main girl was very attentive to a deep wound I acquired when walking past the very sharp 90o angle of the bed. She changed the dressings every day, whereas the man who first dressed it at 3am wasn't so good!
Disliked: We stayed there last year so we knew what to expect. The journey to Playa Bonfire is a bit of a pain as most of the collectives are going to the airport and do not stop. You have to get off near Chaudry and walk then wait for another combo in the right direction. After 8pm hardly any combos are functioning so it is usually a mx$200 journey by cab. Unfortunately if attending Anarchapulco there is very little chance of using the tiny pool which is only open 10-9 if I remember rightly. Last year I did 100 lengths every day, then 50 or 20 of bigger pools at other hotels! The staff are not openly friendly which is a pity, compared to those at Hostel Alameda in Mexico or the Costa Vistamar in Acapulco.

Passable

Liked: it was always clean. The guest next door made a lot of noise, more than normal because the walls are prefabricated, I asked Management to please check on that because the business hours have passed and they did, they contacted the guest right away.And I also appreciated the free breakfast.
Disliked: I did not like that the receptionist who answered me by phone asked me to pay in advance for the first night, after making the reservation, according to Booking's payment policy, the payment would be made a couple of days before the arrival and I let her know but she said they have their own rules an they do not care about Booking policies, so basically it doesn't matter what you book through Booking they will not adhere to it. On the other hand, the Hotel is perceived big in images and in reality it is small, it is not bad but it looks bigger in the pictures.
