Pleasant hotel with all necessary...

Good

Liked: Location and parking are excellent.
Disliked: The room was very small and the bathroom was tiny. The air conditioner had to be switched off as it was so noisy. Very basic toiletries although the towels were good quality. Breakfast was not to my liking but my wife was ok with it. Including breakfast at €174 for one night it was not good value for money.

Disliked: A restaurant on site would make it perfect

Great place to stay for...

Liked: Staff were very friendly and helpful, views were lovely, beds extremely comfortable. Bus stop right outside the hotel and a short drive to funicular. Breakfasts were great with good choice and excellent value.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: The staff were very pleasant .The room was nice and it was quiet.
Disliked: I didn't really like the breakfast set up as it was too small a room which resulted in it not only being a dining room but also a kitchen hence a not very relaxing breakfast at all.The location iz a little remote but very convenient for boat.

Liked: Changed to this rural hotel as opposed to staying in central Bilbao at short notice as we were concerned about parking and travelling with our camper van in Bilbao. Couldn’t have been happier. We booked the ‘house/villa’ which was a bit more expensive than we had anticipated but with our dog the extra room was great. The balcony and gardens overlooked Bilbao. Fantastic photo opportunities. Great garden space for the dog to run. One of the only Hotels that had loads of outside parking space. Great for us!! .
Disliked: We didn’t want to use our camper van whilst visiting Bilbao. The alternative was a 40 minute walk(easy walk) to the Funicular railway (dog friendly)which was a brilliant alternative but quite exhausting in the heat of the day. However, runs every 15 minutes … the journey takes about 5 minutes (5 euro return ticket).
