Very good views of Bilbao...

Liked: It’s location was good as we do not want to be in Bilbao. So the funicular was perfect, plus we found an excellent cafe/ restaurant right by the funicular.
Disliked: It was busy at reception so was very slow couldn’t sit down while waiting as not enough seating, 20 mins !Dog barking most of the night somewhere but I realize that is difficult to correct.

Liked: Breakfast was excellent. Service was excellent. We had two different rooms, both very good but one had a superb view over Bilbao. Location is great for a one night stay if you are getting on or off thr ferry. I'm sure it is equally good for a longer stay We walked down to Bilbao, down many steps, and really enjoyed it, but baulked at the climb back later and got a taxi.
Disliked: Can't think of anything

Liked: Ignacio was very helpful and friendly at the reception desk. The area was beautiful, near hiking/walking in the green hills with wonderful views and nearby a funicular to take get close to the Museum.

Great place to stay

Liked: Lovely views over the City. Felt comfortable and safe. Parking was easy. All round, a great place to stay.
Disliked: It was a bit of a trek into town and returning uphill would be a challenge if you’re not a keen walker. But there was a bus and taxis weren’t expensive.

Good value fo this price

Liked: View to the city, atmosphere of countryside, price is good
Disliked: The location - After Athletic game at 23:00 there is no chance to reach the hotel by bus, high demand on the taxiBed is narrow, room is smallSoundproofing is awful, I’ve heard all the slamming doors in th3 morning

I felt decieved with the...

Liked: I was completly decieved. The room was totaly different from the photos in the boking hotel. It is not correct to decieved the clients in that way.
Disliked: I felt decieved. The room was totaly different from the photos in the boking hotel. It is not correct to decieved the clients in that way. In the booking the rooms look nice the room that they gave me was old and the smell was awful

Liked: Fantastic view of Bilbao, absolutely loved our room. Ignacio was always friendly and very helpful at the concierge desk. We enjoyed the walking paths nearby and the near proximity to the funicular. A short drive by car to the casco viejo.

Superb

Liked: Staff were excellent, breakfast was good the cleanliness was first rate
Disliked: The sound proofing could be better , we could hear everything that was said in the next room although they spoke really loudly pillows were rather small small ,also the mould in the shower needs some attention
