Perfect for a short stay...

Liked: The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. They stored our bags for us before check in and booked a taxi for us after check out. Hotel was very close to city centre, walking distance.
Disliked: The area around the hotel was not very nice but we had no issues.

A great choice if you...

Liked: A really warm welcome from both staff and we were happy to be able to prebook free private off road parking for our car and bikes. The room offered great views across the city to the sea. The location was quite high up in the heart of the city but getting around was fairly easy when you got the hang of using a street lift and very interesting street escalators to help ascend the steep hills from the sea front. Lots of choice of restaurants nearby. The bed was super comfortable and the buffet breakfast offer was generous. If you are travelling on the ferry to Santander the next day it’s a great choice. About 5 minutes from the ferry port.
Disliked: There was a fridge but it wasn’t working properly and It would have been nice to have a kettle, tea, coffee and milk instead of a coffee machine.. not everyone drinks coffee……

I really liked Hotel Art,...

Liked: I loved the small outside balcony looking over the sea, attached to my comfortable room and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were all kind and friendly.
Disliked: Actually, I liked the hotel very much and I would be knit picking to find fault in it!
