Great Hotel in front of...

Liked: The hotel exceeded our expectations. As soon as you step outside, you’re greeted by a beautiful garden. The architecture of the hotel was exceptional, and the staff were also great.

There are so many hotel...

Liked: The building was beautiful with a lovely park just outside. There was plenty of parking.
Disliked: Requested a queen sized bed at booking. Was informed hours after booking that only twin beds were available. The only options available were a downgrade to a smaller room, or to pay an extra 40€ a night for a room with a queen bed. We ended up paying for an upgrade after going back and forth with the front desk and a very nasty manager. We get to our upgraded room only to discover that the our « upgrade » was twin beds pushed together. Essentially, we were scammed into paying extra for nothing. Wort sleep ever in a hotel because of the hole in the bed.

Fantastic

Liked: Fabulous location, beautiful park, close to tram into town.If you are elderly, request a room downstairs, without two storey bedroom, as stairs are very steep and narrow.Loved our room. Loved the hotel.
Disliked: Beware, we got charged for drinks from bar fridge that we didn't drink. If you just lift the drink to look at what type of wine it is, the machine recognizes it is removed and charges it directly to your room.Even when placed back! Very strange system.

Good

Liked: Amazing location, a tram or metro ride from the centre. Nice staff. Room strange. Pick room 63 if a couple who are able to do stairs.... Fun room but unusual.
Disliked: Own stupidity, but switching on the shower was a mensa test. Good job staff were helpful

Large hotel more suited to...

Liked: Staff were helpful in moving us 3 times to a room on one level ie not one that's a loft style with stairs - impossible to move two heavy suitcases up to the bed areaHotel was next to a large park which was nice to walk through during summer evenings
Disliked: First room had inadequate split system aircon cooler downstairs which did not cool the upstairs bed area and impacted first night's sleep. There was no kettle, hairdryer, ironing board (but there was an iron) and these things were then provided plus a second luggage rack. Located a long way from the main elevator and involved two separate stair landings to eventually get to the room door.Arriving to a large hotel more suited to business conferences/artshows then for tourists to stay in. While staff were helpful in finding solutions to a better room, it wasn't a good experience, and we would stay elsewhere next time.

Room amenities and cleanliness need...

Liked: The park in front of the hotel was lovely.
Disliked: I stayed for four nights, there were several aspects that could be improved. The room did not provide complimentary bottled water, and the minibar was completely filled with chargeable drinks, leaving very little space for personal use.Housekeeping only replaced the bath towels and made the bed each day. Some towels were quite worn, and the overall cleanliness could be better — I noticed hair left on the floor and sink from the previous day. On some days, the trash bins weren’t emptied. Also, there were no spare toilet paper rolls in the bathroom, and there was no ventilation fan, so unpleasant odors tended to linger in the room after using the bathroom. The air circulation could definitely be improved.I hope the hotel can take these points into consideration to improve the guest experience in the future.

Pleasant

Liked: The location was good, plenty of trams passing in front of the hotel. The staff was helpful. Restaurant/ cafe was facing the park which was nice.
Disliked: If you are booking a standart room it’s best to double check with the hotel incase they don’t book you in one of the attic rooms with a single window facing the sky. There are different room types in this price category but the photos are not up to date for these options. We were put in such an attic room, luckily the receptionist was able to change our room.
