Liked: It’s clean but is not worth the money I payed for the room I booked in wasn’t the room they gave me. I have arrived to check inn the hotel 1:20 the 16 of July loosing 1 day which wasn’t my fault due to the flights delayed. The gave me a cheap room tiny bathroom and the bathroom door glass broken down I was lucky i didn’t get hurt. They looked down on me because of my skin colour I felt uncomfortable to eat breakfast which payed for in citing the price I pays for room. I stayed for 6 night I booked for 5 nights because my flight was late evening so I have to vacate the hotel at 11:00 in the morning a day before. I had one more night to stay, coming from town waking to the reception they keep me there foe 10 to 12 miss taking luckily my friend speaks Italian they said I had to pay another night that minute thru couldn’t wait for me, I told them I was going up to get my bank card to pay €138 for another night they told me I have 5 mins to do it. I couldn’t believe how rude they have towards me and racist. Perhaps is not for Color’s people hotel. Is one of the cheapest places I have ever stayed in my life. I will never recommend to anyone I know

Liked: Location was great for what I had planned in Turin. My room was a bit tight for walking but it is an old hotel. Breakfast was very nice in a beautiful room which was graced with Mozart’s 15th birthday. Wonderful staff.
Disliked: This is petty but my pillows were quite flat. Not the best of beds but these are personal comforts.

Exceptional

Liked: Great hotel in historical building, makes you feel you're living in the 18th century palazzo, it was really great! This hotel breakfasts are amazing, not just a meal - it's a superb experience with all that wonderfully furnitured historical hall, classical music, great food and high-level staff. Overall, this hotel staff made an impression you're living in 5 star luxurious hotel, impeccable manners, helpful, polite. Location is also great, the heart of the city
Disliked: The room itself was a bit vintage (which is expected!), but not quite in a good way - everything's weary, and there was mold in the bathroom, so if you're allergic it might not be a great variant for you. Yet it all was covered by the overall experience of living in such place

Liked: The hotel is in the centre of town but a very quiet place. The room was large, the bed comfortable, room and bathroom very clean- stuff extremely nice and supporting. Breakfast in a beautiful large room outstanding.

Liked: Breakfast buffet and front desk staff were good.
Disliked: No support for older guests in the bathroom. Worn out carpet throughout the hotel.

Mixed bag

Liked: Perfect location, beautiful old building with tons of personality, gorgeous breakfast area, (some) friendly staff, beautiful historical room (which apparently Verdi had stayed in)
Disliked: No wifi, No phone, they double charged us for tourist/city tax, toilet paper roll so thin we ran out just in one evening, (some) staff rude (I travel with fragile medication that requires special placement in fridge/freezer, I was not allowed to put my own medication in the breakfast fridge as that would require stepping into the breakfast area which is 'forbidden' after 10am - I asked if I could go there with the senior staff member and again this senior staff member said 'no', though in fairness he said he would take the medication there himself - but the way/approach was abrupt and cold).

Liked: Fabulous hotel the decor is amazing. Comfortable bed. Great location very central. Staff kind and helpful. Very clean. Large room and large bathroom. Beautiful breakfast room.
Disliked: I did not give this hotel a score of 10 due to the breakfast was pretty poor, plenty choice but not of good quality. The air conditioning is noisy and could not be left on at night. It would have been nice to sit and relax in the lounge which incidentally is stunning but there are no tea/coffee facilities not even water - though on our last day we discovered water in the fridge in the room. I would recommend this hotel despite the small in discrepancies.
