Hotel Amarano Burbank-Hollywood

Liked: Rooms are nice, staff was nice.
Disliked: Parking! $32.00 a night when they advertise free parking. Free parking is on the street if you can find it. Total rip off.

An amazing stay. Great pool....

Liked: Everything was great! Staff very friendly. Located in a quiet neighborhood. 15 minutes from universal studios. We arrived shortly before check in and our room wasn’t ready. Not a problem we just had cocktails in the bar while we waited. An hour later our room still wasn’t ready so we got upgraded to a pool view room with balcony. The balcony was amazing. Sat out there every morning.
Disliked: Housekeeping was very slow to come to our room daily. Once they didn’t come into 4:30. Another day they didn’t come at all.

It was a great location...

Liked: Great staff from front desk to breakfast, valet, maintenance. Everyone was friendly, and attentive to detail.
Disliked: Twice now we have had towels with frayed edges, they were replaced but why would the staff distribute them?

Liked: Great location in Burbank, very clean and a hard working staff. Continental breakfast was a great start to the day. Kellie in charge of breakfast had a friendly morning greeting/ conversation with everyone.

Disappointing

Liked: I loved the pool and bar area. Having a valet was great. Complimentary water and sunscreen was awesome.
Disliked: I went to the bar for a nightcap and had a very bad experience with the celebrity by the name of Kiefer Sutherland I complained to management and I complained to the bartender he called me very vulgar names for no reason I was minding my own business he was wasted beyond belief and the bartender kept serving him it wasn't cool and it was I will be personally writing the manager to the hotel today I would like some kind of compensation and an apology for this type of behavior when I did nothing as a patron born and raised in Burbank.
