Liked: Very accessible to everything in the city. Old heritage building and was lovely.small balcony. No small fridge which would have been good. Bed comfortable.smaller room . Breakfast down the road at sister hotel.no air conditioning, had to open door/ windows.
Disliked: Very small bathroom. Extremely noisy at night in road, had to close windows and definitely more quiet, but then became quite warm in room and only a thick doona . No lights on bedside tables and tables very small. Just enough room to put cases on floor. Little fridge would have been great. No concierge at all, appears all went to sister hotel down the road. Tiny elevator!

Disappointed overnight stay in a...

Liked: We chose the hotel because it said it had parking (one of my filters). We arrived with a sign on the door telling us to check in at Hotel Monopol a few doors away. I ran in and asked where to park and was told the car park was full but if we parked on the street the hotel would pay for this. It was about 7.20pm - after finding somewhere to park we then checked in eventually about 9pm. There was only 1 receptionist, she charged us for the parking and our dog (not a problem but she didn’t say she was charging for the dog) - it was now too late to go out to eat with our dog. We were then disturbed until gone 2am by people in the room next door. I rang reception for 5 minutes at 2am and they didn’t answer. There were no bedside lampsThe only good thing was the comfortable bed but we didn’t get to sleep until after 2am

Overall nice place.

Liked: Property was just fine. Right in center of town. There was NO PARKING. Nearest spot cost around CHF 50. Would recommend not bringing car. We parked at an ice rink which was 25 minutes walking.
