Liked: friendly employees, location, free coffee
Disliked: The stairs at the last floor, no air conditioner, didn't clean the room (even when we asked for), the bed, the shower curtain was old and dirty

Liked: Great location, friendly staff, quite, free coffee through out the day, nice terrace overlooking the garden
Disliked: Room was a semi-basement, this was not communicated in advance. Mattress was bigger than the bed

Warm, tiny roomm with low...
Liked: The hotel is in a decent location.
Disliked: - tiny, rooms. Barely space to turn around and place your suitcase. The only place where I could place it was in the way of the bathroom door- very low ceiling in the bathroom - I'm 5'9 and my head was touching the ceiling while I was in the shower- although the place has an elevator, it doesn't go to the last, attic level. I had to lug heavy luggage up the stairs- very hot (attic room), the fan in the room doesn't do much. Rooms don't come with AC- have to climb stairs to even get to the receptionNot worth the money.

100% Location with wonderful staff.
Liked: Location was perfect. Vondelstraat is a gorgeous, quiet street. Easy 6 min. walk to Leidseplein or Rijksmuseum.Building is historic and very cute. Designed by P. Cuypers, who also designed the Rijksmuseum and Centraal Station. Elevator!Spotlessly clean. Safe. Decent price for Amsterdam.Staff is warm, welcoming and friendly.Beautiful garden to enjoy. I did not have breakfast.
Disliked: The single room was ridiculously too small. There was no place to open a carry-on suitcase. I had to sleep with it! Why they have a queen size bed in a 1.7x2.5 m room is beyond me. The size would have been tolerable had there been a single bed instead of a queen.The bed reading light would flicker after a few minutes. No refrigerator. No a/c. Though there is a fan.

Disliked: Room door location at bottom of stairs made it noisy.

Nice staff and well located,...
Liked: Nice staff, good location
Disliked: Unclean rooms - dark hairs left in sheets. I was also bitten by something on my arm after a few minutes laying on the bed. The helpful receptionist moved our room based on the hairs in the sheets (they are unable to acknowledge bites without a doctors note).
