Disappointed for the price.

Liked: We loved the location, right across the street from old town, and the updated lobby area. The breakfast at the hotel restaurant was also great - one of the biggest and most varies fruit plates we'd ever seen to go with our yogurt.
Disliked: Although the rooms had been updated, they still felt very dated, and the hallways were extremely noisy. There were a couple of events going on at the hotel, and guests were in the hallways well past midnight, banging doors and talking loudly. We did not find the bathroom clean as we would have liked, and the room wasn't comfortable, which was disappointing for the price.

Would stay again!

Liked: The whole hotel was gorgeous, however, renovations were going on so it was a bit dusty. The food was good, very expensive. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The water was turned off when we arrived and we had to wait a couple of hours for someone to turn it back on. The pool was very hidden/hard to find. When we arrived she said we would not be charged until the morning we left- we woke up to a bill under the door saying it had been paid for- disappointing because we wanted to pay in cash, not card.

Disliked: I had to speak to someone about payment for my room and I called several times and couldn't reach anyone at the front desk or reservations. And had to make other arrangements. Not happy that.

Worth a stay.

Liked: We loved the room service. My wife said the the sitting area was amazing. Great lighting making her make up hair area nice. Light for make up and hair is a must. The grounds were well kept and everything is very clean.
Disliked: They are doing some remodeling which will be nice once done. That said it's loud during the day so napping isn't possible. Also sleeping very late isn't possible.

Passable

Disliked: There were no lights in hall. There was no hotel information in room. It was hard to find the pool and there were no clean towels there.

Good

Liked: Friendly staff. Very good restaurant and bar. Probably another 12-18 months and this place will be a gem with lots of character.
Disliked: Undergoing massive renovation and adding a huge addition with more rooms. While here had a temporary water outage, elevators temporarily stopped working and one night had a fire alarm malfunction. Imagine fire alarm buzzers sounding intermittently from about 11pm until just past midnight. When I booked rooms here I must have missed the notice about the hotel construction?
