Poor - 1.5 out of 5

Unfortunate.

Disliked: Had to move three times. Due to high winds and poor insulation, the sliding glass door rattled relentlessly. Moved to a second room ... the vistors next door were using cannabis and the noise level was high. Moved a third time to a nice room, but left behind two items purchased at Old Town. Called the front desk three times ... and was told three times, that housekeeping would contact me. To this date, no response.

Disappointing

Liked: Could hear right through walls. We were put in an adjoining room, despite the fact that we did not have an adjoining party. we could hear a phone conversation as if the guy was in our room.
Disliked: Shower drain did not drain, could hear ever toilet flush. value horrible, resort fee ridiculous!!!

Stay there AFTER renovations are...

Liked: Great location near old town. Hotel is beautiful old and interesting beautiful features
Disliked: The property is closing Jan. 1 for major renovation. Room dismantling was happening in 2 floors below us. Noisy during the day. Restaurant was closed. I booked this hotel online so had no clue about status. The night manager was gracious and removed amenity and bar charge due to my issues.I thought hotel management could have done better PR job managing the situation such as free coffee card for nearby Starbucks, please excuse our mess notice. etc.Very disappointed in our experience there.I recommend staying there AFTER they complete renovations.
