Liked: Great location, it was our first time at this hotel and we really loved it. We had a drink at the bar and it wa slovely, and the dinner at the restaurant was really good. super friendly staff, highly recommended
Disliked: nothing, everything was really good

Disliked: The rooms were dark with windows looking into other rooms. The decor was ordinary.

Liked: Location was great for getting around the city. Generally the room was very clean and the furniture was in good condition.
Disliked: The bathroom shower included a wall-mouted jet, but it wasn't working. The valve appeared to be broken, which also made it difficult to get a good water temperature out of the shower head. I was able to, but it took some doing. There was a glass-top coffee table in the room, and while the table itself was clean, because it's glass you can see underneath where the top mounts into the frame, and you could see all kinds of dirt and debris, which was off-putting. Given the design someone needs to disassemble and clean it periodically, which clearly isn't being done.

The hotel, staff and accommodations...

Liked: We were in a corner king room overlooking Berkley St. The room was nicely appointed, comfortable and clean. Great Back Bay location and close to Newbury Street.
Disliked: Not a deal breaker, but would be nice if the coffee and hot water in the lounge was available all day.
