Perfect location, ok for a...

Liked: Perfect location and it was clean. Not fancy but does the job.

great location , lovely room...

Disliked: Lobby toilets were disappointing in terms of decor / upkeep compared to standard in room.

Superb

Liked: Air conditioned room which was great as we stayed during a heatwave. Great shower, fridge in room, also tea and coffee making facilities. Safety deposit box in room FOC. Towels changed everyday and room.cleanedVery nice staff Close proximity to brasseries.and cafes.Republique metro a 5mi. walk away.
Disliked: Found the pillows a bit too flat to use just one. but too high when using two. Fridge temperature.could be a little colder.

Great location, could be cleaner

Liked: Amazing location - I didn't even try all the restaurants/bakeries within two blocsk on the street, but I ate at 5 of them, all magnifcente. Really close to the Republique metro station. Neighborhood is lovely.
Disliked: Wasn't the cleanest hotel - baseboards were dirty, some mold in the shower. I found it odd that sometimes the front door was locked and you had to be buzzed in, and other times it wasn't. One morning, I went to the bakery next door and had to wait nearly 10 minutes to be let back into the hotel.

Liked: The Superior rooms with street view are nice with big windows and renovated bathroom.
Disliked: I booked a 2 night stay in a Superior room with street or courtyard view . Our booking was messed up and the first night we spent in a tiny room on ground floor with window into the hotel foyer . The Room was dirty and needed maintenance. However the reception manager kindly changed our room to what we had booked for the second night .
