Nice comfortable city centre location...

Liked: Perfect location in the heart of Brussels, just a minute or two walk off the main square. This is a small modern hotel in a period building, but our room was a reasonable size. Not luxury, but clean and practical. The staircase to our room tested my nerves - it is very steep and spiral and not for the faint hearted! However, when we arrived the staff carried our suitcases up for us and would have carried them back down if we had asked them to. Staff were very helpful. There is no air-con in the rooms but there is a large tower fan which was reasonably effective - and we arrived in Brussels during a heatwave. The hotel is in a pedestrianised area so there was no traffic going by at night and the windows could be left open without too much noise.
Disliked: Be sure to ask about the stairs before you book if you have any difficulty with steps. I think there are some rooms where the stairs are not quite so challenging.

Disliked: So many stairs! No full length mirror or proper wardrobe and the bathroom was so small you had to squash yourself to be able to sit on the toilet!
