Disliked: I have stayed with this hotel twice previously and it was excellent it was not clear when booking this time that the hotel was closed and that the rooms booked were in a separate building I would not have booked had i known this and I couldn't cancel as the booking was non refundable

Liked: The location was ideal, within 30 mins walking distance of the station, Vatican and Colosseum.As the main hotel was being refurbished, we were based in the annexe, located just around the corner. Whilst this accommodation was a little tired and needing refurbishment, the room was clean and tidy. The access to get into the annexe was very secure. The breakfast items were as described in the information, simple and fine for a light starter to the day.If there was a problem it was dealt with effectively and efficiently. Barbara was extremely helpful, readily available and conscientious ensuring that any issues were promptly dealt with. Happy to recommend this hotel and I look forward to being able to visit the hotel when the upgrade is complete.
Disliked: Ensure that the visitor information pack is complete. Check the breakfast items to give a little variety

Not what we expected.

Liked: Very close to the center of Rome and key activities. The room also had aircon.
Disliked: We booked a room in the hotel but because of renovations, we were placed in separate accommodation. This was communicated with us after paying for the room. The tiles were falling out of the shower and we could only flush the toilet once every four hours as there was no water left... We paid extra for breakfast each morning and only received yogurt, packet finger cakes and packet croissants. This was only replenished once in the four days we were there. Additionally, no staff met us at the room to welcome us. We were gutted given how much money we spent and expected the service you get when booking a hotel.
