Dating back from the 16th century Hotel Adler is a charming property in the heart of the 'Niederdorf' area Zurich´s lively and charming Old Town with its unique atmosphere. Excellent Place to Stay While...

Liked: The staff was willing to let us keep our bags at the hotel after we checked out while we went hiking.
Disliked: Room was a bit tight.

The best place I have...

Liked: The hotel is in an excellent location. The staff are very professional. The breakfast is very good - plenty of fresh, good quality ingredients. The room was quiet and comfortable. I can't find fault in anything (and I'm very fussy about where I stay)!

Great location right in the...

Liked: The location. Very nice atmosphere right in the Zurich old town. The front desk was exceptionally helpful in giving direction and information. Breakfast was excellent.
Disliked: As with any hotel downtown a busy city, the bars were open till late at night. Mostly when one just arrives from overseas. But I can imagine how difficult it is to get the bars to cooperate. Yes it is very inconsiderate but not sure what the hotel can do about it. But overall we enjoyed the hotel very much!!
