Hotel Abri du Voyageur

Nicely decorated and very close to pretty much everything in the show quarter.

Liked: Very quaint; room was very nice and included kitchen.
Disliked: Breakfast was not included as it said it was.

Pleasant

Liked: Loved the location, smack dab in the heart of things, and there is a metro stop nearby. Also, at night, the square becomes pedestrianized with benches and people chilling, and lots of food and nightlife around.
Disliked: The room had an old-fashioned lock that you needed to try several times while pulling the door really hard, which was a problem for me. The staff were friendly and helped me out, but I would suggest the property to update their locks. Also, just as an FYI - the bathrooms are shared, and there is no elevator. So make sure you are aware of this. Having said that, I had no issues with either.

Unable to sleep because of...

Liked: The price and location were good, the room size was also quite good
Disliked: The facility was dirty, the people inside rather strange, and we could not sleep at night because of a couple of stoned junkies banging and walking in the hallway. Early in the morning when we left they were still there, he without a shirt wandering around the hotel while the one in the lobby was sleeping peacefully. Also the police comes at some point without success.
