Disappointing Experience – Would Not...

Disliked: We stayed at Hotel 7 for two nights and were very disappointed with the overall experience. The location was inconvenient—over a 25-minute walk to most major attractions. The restaurant had a leak, and the elevator was out of service with no notice posted. We waited nearly 10 minutes before realizing it wasn’t working, and no one had bothered to inform guests. Navigating to the third floor was a nightmare due to the confusing interior layout and disconnected corridors. There was no one at the front desk to assist—only a security guard who couldn’t provide directions. We had clearly informed the hotel that we needed to check out at 6 a.m. and hoped for assistance with our heavy luggage (especially with the elevator out of order). Unsurprisingly, no one was at the front desk the next morning. We had to carry everything ourselves. A kind lady from the restaurant helped us find a staff member to do room check outs, but only another security guard showed up, who seemed unsure of what to do. To top it off, the front gate was locked, and when we asked for help opening it—our hands full with luggage—the security guard simply said, “You can do this yourself.” Overall, the lack of communication, poor service, and unhelpful staff made for a very frustrating stay.
