exceeded my expectations

Liked: Excellent breakfast with gluten-free bread, eggs, fresh fruits, yogurt, and more. Everything was tasty and well presented.The location is also great, just a short walk from the metro, making it easy to get around the city.
Disliked: Nothing to complain about! I’d definitely stay here again.I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city, whether for business or leisure, it’s a great place to stay.A well-rounded stay that exceeded my expectations!

Hotel 38 lies right in...

Liked: Staff was very nice, the breakfast was great, and the location was much better than I expected. It was central to everything and had all the trams and buses within a five minute walk from the entrance.
Disliked: I am not use to sleeping in a twin bed against a wall. I should I have asked for another pillow as well.

Affordable room in an excellent...

Liked: The location was excellent, it could not have been better! It was right next to a S-train station, and very near a metro station. There was also 2 other train stations and metros near by, so you could basically get to anywhere. On the other side of the road there was the Berlin Fotografiska museum, which I highly recommend, and there was a huge amount of restaurants, cafe's, and bars in that block and near by. The staff was friendly and helpful, and we could leave our luggage to the hotel on the last morning for safekeep when we circled the near by museums before our flight. Everything was clean, the cleaning crew was very nice, and we were given a bottle of mineral water each day in our room.
Disliked: The bed was very hard on our backs, my husband suffered quite a bit. The air conditioning was super loud, so we could not keep it on during the night. But thankfully, it was very quick to cool the room, so couple of minutes when needed did the trick. Breakfast was simple, the first 2 mornings they had soy milk there for people who cannot/will not consume dairy, so we could have coffees and cerials with that, but then it ran out, and the last breakfast was quite a downer with black coffee and just bread and jam & cucumbers
