Hotel 24 South

Superb

Liked: Great location. Walk to everything easily. Nice old hotel.
Disliked: Old hotels can be a little noisy and hallways don’t have AC. but that’s okay.

Very clean and comfortable hotel...

Liked: Exceptionally comfortable mattress. Unique and nice room layout. Check in employee was very professional and kind, however he didn't explain anything .. Like where The elevators were or if there was a pool or not these were things I didn't really know was there a place to eat breakfast I don't know I left and I didn't eat anything there because I didn't know if there was a restaurant.
Disliked: Just have the check and employee explain the amenities very quickly It wouldn't take more than 30 seconds I think.

Fabulous! That's why we came...

Liked: Amazed at the architecture of the historic hotel.On site parking.Walking distance to town, shopping and restaurants.Staff very friendly and helpful.Can't wait to visit during the holiday season. Last time we visited the entrance was decorated withseveral large Christmas trees and there was a large ice sculpture in the dining hall.
Disliked: Staff in dining room didn't interact so much with us.Was the name change necessary? Stonewall Jackson Inn is much more historic than Hotel 24 South.

The hotel was so wonderful...

Liked: The hotel was beautiful and the staff were fantastic especially considering the fact that the city was under a boil water order which I’m sure caused the staff a number of issues. The breakfast was great. My sister and I could not have been happier.
