Clean and conveniently located but...

Liked: The location right near the train station was excellent. There were quite a few good places nearby to eat.
Disliked: There was no breakfast area; the room was very cramped with very little space for luggage or to put things; no fridge so we couldn’t have breakfast in our room or even a cup of tea with real milk; no laundry facilities nearby. The air con didn’t really do anything as it was not user friendly and we couldn’t get the window open. We were there for quite a few nights so it was a pity it wasn’t more comfy.

I was happy and enjoyed...

Liked: The staff was friendly, the cleaning lady tried to give me a bottle of water on my way out. I did like the air conditioner was very quiet, in other hotels it got very loud. I also liked the booking process allowed me to make special requests and my request for a quiet room was addressed and honoured.
Disliked: Cleaning was by request only but I guess that wasn't a big deal. The sink is in the shower which is weird and the rooms don't have any kind of refrigerator, that's very weird. Also I was given a quiet room on the top floor which was great except I got the room right next to the elevator which was clanging every time someone used it and got quite loud. I would have thought the staff would have known that could happen. I also didn't like the room was so small that the bed took up almost all of it.

Modern stylish studio with easy...

Liked: The location is super convenient with the Red Line Porter Station just across the road. Also, lots of coffee shops and other small business in the area.I also enjoyed the well-equipped, cool and spacious gym in the basement.
Disliked: The elevator broke down during my stay.

Will not stay here again...

Liked: The location right in Porter Square is great.
Disliked: The desk clerk was very curt and grouchy. It was like being booked into jail rather than being welcomed into a nice hotel. When I walked up to the reception desk, he sat there and grimly barked out, “Name and credit card.” Unsmiling. He then ran my card and pointed to the left and growled, “Elevator.” The guy has definitely not found his calling in customer service. Also, the room was shockingly tiny, with only a foot or so of space on each side of the queen-sized bed. The elevator shaft took up most of the space, it seemed. The soap dish had gunk in it left over from the previous guest; it had not been cleaned. Very overpriced—the only good thing was the convenient location across from the subway station.
