Perfect spot to overnight in...

Liked: Clean, bright, uncluttered, great location, excellent value. No frills but good vibes. Good coffee shop right on the corner. Valet parking.

Liked: Modern and in good condition. Excellent location, across the road from the Porter Square subway station. Ten or fifteen minute walk to Harvard.
Disliked: Servicing of rooms only done on request

Superb

Liked: Great, spacious room with a comfortable bed and proper water pressure
Disliked: Didn’t like having to go downstairs to get coffee first thing in the morning….normally like to lounge in pjs for my first cup.

Good location, but small room...

Liked: I was in town for a one day alumni event near the hotel. I flew in on Friday night and left on Satuday. Hotel 1868 was near the event I was attending, clean and with attentive staff.
Disliked: I think the hotel would be considered a boutique hotel and not part of a larger chain. My main issue with the room was it was extremely small. The bed which was little too high for me occupied most of the space in the room. The room was limited in space and I did not feel relaxed or very comfortable. Also the room was over $300 with no breakfast.

Convenient

Disliked: The room was super small and not convenient if you have to work, since there is only one high desk with an uncomfortable high chair.
