A pleasant discovery

Liked: After witnessing the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024, near Lake Nimrod, we were in search of a place to spend the night. As soon as we found cell phone coverage, we stopped to look for accommodations near Hot Springs and quickly realized we were within walking distance of the Hot Springs Village Inn. This hotel was a delightful discovery. The receptionist was exceptionally kind both during check-in and later when we asked for recommendations on a place to have dinner. The hotel is meticulously maintained, both externally (I liked the beautiful flowerbed at the entrance) and internally, boasting modern and updated décor. Rooms were very clean, the bathroom was well-stocked with all necessary products, including a hairdryer, and the beds were exceedingly comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and provided an opportunity to meet other friendly guests who had also come for the eclipse. I highly recommend this property.

Great price for a reasonable...

Liked: The location was great. It was fairly close to where other family members were staying. The breakfast was alright, nothing special. The staff was excellent. We also liked having a coffee maker and microwave in our room.
Disliked: I missed having hangers in my room. The sink in the vanity looked terrible and when the cold water was on it leaked under the facets. The blinds over the window allowed too much light to get in at night. There was also some worry that someone could see through them.

Liked: Rooms were extremely nice and newly renovated. I've never walked into a hotel room that nice before. Location is easy to get to and it's a very quiet place. The staff members we met were very friendly and polite. They even chatted with us some during breakfast. The continental breakfast was good and had several options to choose from as well.
Disliked: There's nothing that we didn't like. No complaints here!
