Hotel Description
RC Miguel Angel is just one street from Puerta del Sol in central Madrid. This hostel has dorms with free Wi-Fi and a shared kitchen. The simply decorated dorms at RC Miguel Angel have bunk beds and access to a shared bathroom. There is heating and either a fan or air conditioning. A laundry service is available for an additional fee. There is also a vending machine selling coffee and soft drinks. Bars cafes restaurants and shops can be found around Puerta del Sol where there is also a Metro station. Plaza Mayor and Gran Vía are within a 5-minute walk of the hostel. Paseo del Prado El Retiro Park and the Prado Museum can be reached in 20 minutes by foot.

RC MIGUEL HOSTEL IS A...

Disliked: This hostel is a SCAM! They sold me the room that I booked for 120€ and when I arrived I ringed the bell for more than 15 minutes and nothing. When another man came to the building (to go to another hostel) I went up and knocked on the door and ringed the bell for more than 30 minutes. Nothing. No one came. There was no noise at all coming from the hostel. After giving up I went to the other hostel downstairs and the really helpful attendant told me that the hostel was UNDER CONSTRUCTION. They were renovating or something like that. And they SILL SOLD ME THE ROOM. I had to go to another hostel and pay more than 3 times the price of RC Miguel Angel. I have complained with booking and this shitty site didn't give me ANY help whatsoever. DON'T GO TO HOSTEL RC MIGUEL ANGEL. DON'T USE BOOKING.COM. This is not a serious website and business and they simply DON'T HELP THEIR CLIENTS when a problem comes. I haven't got neither my money, nor any answer whatsoever from the hostel or from booking.com.

Very good

Liked: Easy enough to find.Lovely little room overlooking the street Right in the centre. Close to squares, markets and restaurants.
Disliked: The smell in the bathroom.

Friendly and helpful staff. Very...

Liked: Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and also great location. I had a short time before my flight to rest and the staff was wonderful letting me check in super early and changing my room so I could sleep for a few hours. The bed was very comfortable and the room was small, but great. I had a lovely stay.

Bad service

Liked: Nothing to like about this hostel. The receptionist is a pure racist, so rude and unfriendly.
Disliked: First the receptionist is rude, secondly he doesn't respond promptly when you need assistance.This is the worst so far.You can do better.

Liked: Location is kinda nice, it's in the center and well connected with metro stations
Disliked: It's small, dirty and trustworthy. For one night can be nice but would not stay there again
