If you're looking for a place that’s as bold and fun as your concert plans, Hostel Fish delivers. This upscale hostel in downtown Denver blends boutique design with budget-friendly dorm-style accommodations. Located just a 5-minute walk from Coors Field and a short stroll to the lively 16th Street Mall, it’s a social, stylish base for music lovers and city explorers alike. Bright murals, modern shared spaces, and an on-site bar bring an energetic, community-driven vibe to your stay.
Location is everything, and Hostel Fish nails it. With major venues like Coors Field and downtown clubs within walking distance, you can skip the Uber and soak in the city. Post-show hangouts are easy thanks to the daily cocktail hour and on-site bar. The 24-hour front desk and early 07:30 checkout make it easy for early risers or road-trippers. Given it's a hostel, expect a lively atmosphere—but earplugs are free if you’re ready to crash early.
The on-site bar serves up drinks for pre- or post-show hangs, and the shared kitchen lets you prep meals anytime. While there's no 24/7 room service, the hostel’s central location means tons of late-night dining options are steps away. The communal vibe also means you can share snacks, stories, and maybe a slice of pizza after your show.
Hostel Fish is a gateway to Denver’s nightlife. The on-site bar is a great pre-game spot, and the daily cocktail hour kicks off the night right. You're just blocks from bars, clubs, and live music venues, making it easy to keep the party going—or wind down with other travelers in the shared lounge.
Travelers love the creative decor and social energy. Guests frequently mention the friendly staff, clean facilities, and unbeatable location. The hostel vibe gets high marks from solo visitors and concert-goers who appreciate the casual, open atmosphere. Many say it’s a great place to meet fellow music lovers.
If you're a light sleeper, remember this is a hostel—it can get lively at night. Some guests mention that shared bathrooms and dorm setups aren’t for everyone, and there's no on-site breakfast, but the nearby cafes more than make up for it.
Hostel Fish is perfect for concert-goers who want a fun, affordable, and walkable stay in the heart of Denver’s music scene.

not great but okay
Liked: location is great: only a short walk from the Central Station
Disliked: the girls bathroom was locked in the early morning and the given pass code didn't work.staff was not as professional as expected to be.room was way too basic, barely sufficient.

If you like character and...
Liked: I enjoy that this hostel is located downtown and everything is within walking distance. The beds are pretty comfortable and the set up is nice. This hostel has it's own vibe and I like the room with all the globes and the old wallpaper from the original brothel.
Disliked: The kitchen was a hot mess. Though this is collective living the staff could have done better about keeping everything clean. There is also no stove and the plug in burner takes a hot minute to heat up. I wish they offered free breakfast.

Very poor
Liked: The location was nice. The bathroom was well-maintained, too.
Disliked: There were bugs (or mites, basically some insects) in the bedsheet and bedcover. I came back with a lot of bites, swollen limbs, and had to take medications.
