Hostal La Encantada

A lovely hostel

Liked: The room was nice and clean, and the location was great. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also very good :) We really enjoyed our stay, thank you!

Exceptional

Liked: Henry is great and the room was excellent 👌
Disliked: I had to leave early and was not able to have breakfast in the restaurant.

Superb

Liked: Great location, spacious rooms, very friendly staff
Disliked: Noisy neighbours (dogs, street sellers, police)

Basic and pleasant

Liked: Very clean, comfortable beds and friendly staff. It is a simple setting, very much like the pictures on the site.
Disliked: The hostal has no reception, we had our luggage lost by the airline, delivered the following day. Even though the son of the owner was very kind and waited for us to return so he could leave, not having a reception was an issue. Also, the wi-fi didn't work very well and the shower could be improved.

Superb

Liked: Breakfast, quiet, clean, big space, beds
Disliked: No screens on windows in case it gets hot and you want to keep the bugs out.

Liked: Staff was extremely nice. They actually upgraded me to a different room which had a gorgeous private bathroom with a stained glass window. There was a hiccup with the Wi-Fi but they solved it promptly and it worked fairly well after that

Very good

Liked: The location was great, close to several awesome taco and torta stands. The neighborhood also seemed safe to walk around at night. The hostel was very quiet so it was easy to relax. The staff was super nice!
Disliked: Not a lot of socializing but that's ok if that's what you're looking for. Also, the free wifi was great most of the time, but occasionally cut out for a few minutes for some reason
