Worth repeating

Liked: A perfect base for a relaxing weekend / holiday. Very friendly staff. Food good - v helpful re fixing sandwich supper on Sunday night when kitchens closed. Roast beef exceptional.Room - pretty and clean and comfortable, more than adequate ensuite shower room. My daughter's Room on 2nd floor had spacious and good bathroom which she much appreciated.
Disliked: Number of sockets / placement in bedroom could have been better. Would have appreciated being able to boil kettle closer to the tray and away from the en suite doorway.

Liked: Clean and comfortable bedroom, friendly staff and good evening meal.
Disliked: Shower was very compact! Dirty linen left outside bedroom door all day..Breakfast quite greasy.

Exceptional

Liked: What a lovely pub! All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed, a comfortable night sleep. Although we didn't have our dog with us, it was so lovely to see how dog friendly they are.

Liked: Lovely feel in the pub with big fire. Room had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Staff were great and very helpful. A lovey breakfast
Disliked: The room and bathroom were quite cold.
