The staff was very friendly and helpful. We can't wait to come back and spend more time at this hotel.

Liked: Right in the heart of the Gaslamp district and very close to everything within walking distance.
Disliked: Property does not come with free parking for its guest. At the price point I expected more. Hotel staff was absolutely amazing along with Valet.Very historic hotel with great charm and elegance. The rooms on the other hand need touch ups. The beds are not ideal for a hotel and neither are the pillows. Cabinets, night stands and theme are very old school. Bathroom was pretty good, however water pressure was lacking. Flat screen tv and working fireplace in room was amazing, however did not use either.Gym was very small and seriously lacked ventilation. Was working out for an hour or so with 4 other people in that small little room. Not ideal and damn it felt like a sauna.Now security on the other hand was absolutely terrible. Listening to music, on their phones, could give a care in the world about what is going on around them. Just there for the paycheck. Also went to ask a security guard a question and immediately got shut down and told me “ehh go talk to him over there”! I use to work in the private security industry as a Manager. The unprofessional, rudeness and lack of care for their client and guests makes me not want to come back.

Disliked: Wasn't a true Suite as it didn't have a door between bedroom and rest of the unit. Outdoor balcony looked out to another part of the hotel wall 10 ft. away. Bathroom needs to be upgraded and various items repaired for what I paid

Liked: Friendly staff and cute quaint place.
Disliked: My only complaint is that the entry door and patio door both had really big gaps. I didn’t feel unsafe and it didn’t impact temperature so didn’t cause a problem on those fronts but made me worry about noise and bugs.
