Liked: Breakfast sandwich was large, fit our needs. AM waiter was very courteous and friendly. Also night bartender on 19 April at 9:55 PM quickly got us our drinks before 10:00 closing time.
Disliked: The only negative critique is the loud volume of the bathroom exhaust fan and air conditioner when AC came on.

Great location if you are looking to have a party night with friends.

Liked: Historical looking building. Able to walk to Petco Park.
Disliked: Outside noise later in the evening, however it was a Friday. Lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance, which could be good or bad. Could use more plugs for phone, tablet, watch.

A wonderful hotel in a...

Liked: A beautiful hotel in a central location and close to everything. We really enjoyed our stay at the Horton Grand Hotel and would highly recommend this to anyone, those interested in history and drawn to character hotels, who enjoy walking to different places, those coming to town for ball games or concerts. Perfect for adults and couples for sure.
Disliked: It would have been nice to have more breakfast options available at the hotel but there are lots of great restaurants nearby so it wasn't a deal breaker.

Liked: A beautiful hotel in a central location and close to everything. Disliked: Honestly, I can't think of any improvements! It's a pity that the overnight valet parking is so expensive, but we found a reasonable lot, not too far away.
