Horseshoe Tunica Casino & Hotel

The stay was okay for...

Liked: Access to and from the facility was easy to navigate. The room AC worked very well and kept the room cool to my liking. The servers were wonderful at the restaurants and casino floor which made for a more pleasant experience.
Disliked: The bathroom had old mop water stains behind the door. There were no garbage can liners for the garbage can. There were non working light bulbs in the room so it was very dim. The king size bed had a hump in the middle of it so you would roll to one side or the other and a flat sheet was used instead of a fitted sheet so it kept getting bunched up. Maintenance had to come twice to look at the tv because it was not working properly. The pool bar was not open to rent a canopy or get drinks even though it was “strictly” forced that no outside drinks were allowed in the pool area. It was a weekday so maybe that was the difference, but staff didn’t seem to know any answers to questions I asked. Even though the resort fee is included when booking through booking.com, the hotel still charges an extra 16.99 when preauthorizing the credit card for the stay so it is actually more than what booking.com shows for the reservation price. There is also an additional cost for early check in before 2 PM which is understandable, but wirh the hotel not being full at all, that could have been adjusted but I guess rules are rules.

Disliked: All the smoke. It was horrible. It makes grading the whole facility a little hard because I was covering my mouth all the time. Except during the concert, which was outstanding.

Disliked: The website stated there was room service but, we found out there was not, there needs to be something updated

Liked: The room was clean, and the bathtub was SPECTACULAR.
Disliked: The pillows are flat out horrible, and there should be more than one trash can in the room.
