Horse Cave Motel

Perfectly clean, serviceable budget motel...

Liked: An older motel, but it's been refreshed and was perfectly clean. Just be ready for it to be a little 'different' than you might be used to at chain hotels. I had a window air conditioner (with heat) instead of the typical through-wall or in-wall unit, but it kept the room perfectly cool. And the furniture is a bit old, but serviceable. But it's a budget motel, and I've paid much more for worse. $50/night plus tax on a weekend in August (summer season), and was only charged $15/night for my little dog. A friendly owner, big-screen TV, and fast wi-fi, what more do you need? I've stayed before and will stay again.

Liked: Quiet family owned, clean and close to the caves. Very accommodating to our dog. If you like the old style drive up to your door as I do, you should have a good experience. Some odd characters about but nothing unsavory or troublesome. Felt safe staying with my wife and daughter.
Disliked: Nothing.
