Today Hornsbury Mill has been beautifully converted into a 4-star hotel with the historic mill's stunning original features carefully preserved and sensitively integrated. Beautiful original wooden beams and historic stonework combine with contemporary facilities such as wireless internet access. All of the hotel's cozy rooms with attached bathroom are individually designed and decorated in a traditional country style. Very relaxed, super friendly staff...

Liked: Beautiful. Fantastic surroundings and atmosphere so chilled out and just lovely.
Disliked: Sometimes no one around when looking to ask a question or when we wanted to pay the bill had to walk about to find someone maybe a bell or buzzer would have been a good idea

Liked: Excellent location, quiet, a lovely old mill., friendly staff.
Disliked: Okay On my first evening I decided to eat in the restaurant and ordered venison pie, it wasnt fresh and neither was the gravy. A real disappointment. My last evening, a few days later, I thought I'd try the restaurant again. It had been a hot day so I asked for a ceaser salad - not available. The supplier apparently hadn't delivered : pork pie, scotch egg etc. I opted for Tuscan chicken which in fairness was very nice.

Magical

Liked: Staff were very friendly, attentive, and efficient.The bed was superb king size, room very clean shower good. In all the hotel is a definite gem especially with the water mill from the 13th century. Its a beautiful working watermill. Oh and the resident peacocks are an added attraction. The grounds are beautiful to walk around. In all this is a place I'll return to.
Disliked: Not a lot to not like. Amazing place.

Superb in every way

Liked: Superb location, lovely room, excellent grounds. Lovely staff, good food, can’t recommend highly enough.
Disliked: The bathroom was a fabulous wet room, let down slightly by cheap shower head fittings.
