Nice hostel to sleep before...
Liked: Nice hostel in a perfect location before the trip to Everglades of Key West. The room is decent in size and the bed is quite comfortable. Huge territory to drink beer and relax in the shade.. Bathrooms are clean. The price was affordable
Disliked: The amenities are a bit worn down - do not expect the 5* hotel, but the atmosphere is enjoyable. There were few cockroaches, but hey - it's almost tropics..

Nice location, Nice facility, sketchy...
Liked: It was a good location, Nice front desk guy.. My issuse was with the housekeeper who just came into our room in the evening without explanation then when asked about it she came up to "close the window " (it wasn't open) something felt off about her and made the stay feel unsafe

Loved it!
Liked: We had a simple but very nice and clean double room! The large outdoor area was set up nicely with a small natural pool , evening entertainment, had an outdoor shower and a kitchen and lots of room . Very friendly and helpful staff. Thank you!

Really neat place, I hope...
Liked: Really neat, eclectic place. The backyard space is amazing and features plenty of relaxed seating, tree cover, lights, a gazebo, a dance floor, and a water feature you can swim in. Free parking, restaurants nearby. Closest you can get to the Keys without paying an arm and a leg
Disliked: There are a few improvements I would suggest to the management. First, install a personal reading lamp in each bed so that guests don’t have to blind each other when coming home late. Install night lights or a dimmer switch in the hallway; the light coming in from the hallway through the vent was pretty bright. And maybe post signs asking guests to close doors softly. Every door was spring-loaded to slam shut and people were just letting it slam all night and morning long. It’s also a sad reality in hostels across America, but this place seemed to be inhabited by as many troubled or mentally ill unhoused people as by travelers. Those folks tend not to be as aware of the people who are just trying to get a bit of sleep as the other travelers are (not that i can blame them). You just don’t see nearly as much of that in Europe or Asia.

Superb
Liked: The place is amazing, with a wonderful atmosphere, almost magical. The garden in particular is a parallel dimension where to relax and enjoy free time after or before an intense trip to the Everglades. It offers the possibility to meet new people but also have your own privacy. I would have liked to stay more days!! Ah! And the host was very welcoming and showed me around the place.
