Nice hotel but not worth...

Liked: Room set up was great. Comfy bed, separate living area, 2 tvs. Has its own parking deck right beside the entrance.
Disliked: There is a fan above the bed that only has an off and on switch. It is so powerful we woke up with wind burn on our faces (not painful, but our faces were red the next day). The parking deck is tiny. Expect to do a few laps to find a spot if you're there on the weekend.

Terrible

Disliked: The location of this property is OK. First off it?s $15 a night for parking which should be included with your stay. I originally had a reservation at the Hampton, two weeks prior to my reservation the Hampton called and told me that they had an HVAC issue I needed to cancel my room. Of course I panicked due to coming to Richmond for an event that I immediately got on the phone and booked another hotel. Which was the Hilton Homewood suites which cost double my original reservation. When I found out the Hampton and the Hilton is the same hotel!! I immediately asked for them to honor my old reservation price and if there was an issue that they should move me to another room not cancel my reservation. But just like when I did go to the hotel the staff is nowhere to be found. Let?s start out with my room. It was clean but half of the lamps didn?t work. When I go to turn on the TV it says no signal when I try to go on my laptop to work there is no Internet. I called the front desk and ask for someone to come up and was told someone would be up right away. Nobody ever showed!! Then I go to take a shower. When I first turn on the water black chunks are coming out. After I let it run for a Minute it stopped. And then I had no hot water. Tried to call no one answered. At this point I was done. Paying $300 for the night having no hot water, no TV and no Internet. When I woke up in the morning I was going to check out prior to my event. Not one person to be found at the front desk. I stood there for 20 minutes and then proceeded to call to see if I would get someone?s attention to come to the front desk or even answer the phone and that did not work.And their complementary breakfast was in a box in the sink with ice cold coffee that I believe was prepared the night before.

May not consider this property...

Liked: Very basic breakfast. Nothing special. Cold boring stuff
Disliked: The property does not keep its rooms clean enough. On the 3rd day of occupation, no cleaning staff ever came in to clean, replenish towels, make the beds, or clear trash. This is after multiple reminders on the 3rd day. I was told if one stays for less than 4 days, there will be no cleaning. Garbage can overflow, beds can be messy, toilets not cleaned - they don't care And this is in the middle of a pandemic !! I have photos but am not uploading them as a courtesy as I have stayed here before, and the stay was much more pleasant then. Something has changed in the way it is managed of late. Just giving them a chance to fix this oversight this time

Good value, but not the...

Liked: Door to bedroom.
Disliked: Room not cleaned. A piece of chrome trim laying in bathroom. Shower head had red mold on it.

I wouldn?t stay here again

Liked: The location was convenient
Disliked: The hotel was overpriced and there was an additional charge for parking. Beds were very uncomfortable and the sheets were not properly cleaned. My sheets smelled like urine. Also, the bathtub did not appear to be cleaned.

Horrible stay

Liked: From the moment we parked the hotel was confusing as hell . We walked into our room a smells like someone was growing marijuana in our room . The door had a tape on the door as it was properly cleaned and it obviously wasn?t the the floors where sticky and we found several clips of weed in the room . So disgusting to arrive too after long car ride with two small children . They then changed our room and it was slightly better the next morning coming out our room we saw a homeless man come out the staircase we have since tried to call the operations manager and have had no response. Most horrible experience ever . We will never stay here again . So disappointing.
