Bitter-sweet
Liked: The king-size bed provided exceptional comfort, complemented by the balcony and kitchen amenities. Furthermore, the breakfast offerings were quite palatable, and the pool access was appreciated.
Disliked: The staff's demeanor was perceived as unwelcoming. Furthermore, the hallways were excessively warm, and the response from the check-in personnel was unhelpful. The facility had only one operational elevator, with the other out of service. Additionally, the balcony door was non-functional, and a wasp nest on the balcony presented a potential health hazard.

Exceeded my expectations.
Liked: Exceeded my expectations. Love that their is a kitchen, separate bedroom and living area. Everything was really clean. It was nice all around.
Disliked: There was nothing I didn't like.

I most likely wouldn’t stay...
Liked: Customer service was good and the area was great. Very close proximity to nearly everything that was in the weekend plans. I loved the digital hotel room key and the convenience it was.
Disliked: Upon arrival, it was some leaking ceilings so it made me slightly nervous about my stay. Ideally for the price I was expecting my room to be slightly bigger than what it was. I booked a king suite with a balcony, however, very big rats were spotted from the 5th floor balcony. Made the stay slightly uncomfortable but because we were so tired and traveling all day we opted to stay and just ride things out and make the best out of it.

Nice hotel and staff but...
Liked: Suite size, breakfast, patio/garden
Disliked: Pool closed, unattractive view of closed pool, needs update, hall carpet old and stained, bath tub needs replaced, some rusty fixtures. Just old but clean.

Bad breakfast service and customer...
Liked: Spacious one bedroom unit.
Disliked: The breakfast selection was very limited for a Homewood Suites hotel. The first morning 4/17 there were no sausages and the rude lady working there said that there were more in the oven but they never appeared. There was also no yogurt and the orange juice was diluted.The coffee was so bad I couldn’t even drink it.I got a text from someone named Thomas asking how our stay at the hotel was going and I wrote about the bad experience with the breakfast and that we had immediately regretted staying at this hotel for 4 nights.There was never a response to this!!! How bad is that for Customer Service???One other this was that the pool was totally empty and on our reservation it said there there was a pool.Anyway, next time we go to Raleigh to visit our grandson we will definitely NOT stay at this place!
