Nice hotel. Parking needs attention...
Liked: Everything was clean and tidy. Staff were friendly facilities and breakfast were very good
Disliked: We had a issue when leaving with our parking ticket. The parking attendant was very rude when asked to assist us he accused us of trying to skip out on paying on exit when we had already paid $50 for our parking moments before leaving. Being kind doesn't cost anything

Overall, it was fine for...
Liked: Not far from the city centre. Lovely swimming pool. The main areas look updated. Room was very spacious. Staff very friendly.
Disliked: We stayed on the 5th floor and unfortunately found the room and overall experience quite noisy. The door didn’t close properly, so after our first return we realized it hadn’t even locked. Because the doors don’t close softly, every time a guest entered or left their room it slammed loudly. On top of that, we could hear other guests, dogs, ventilation systems, and various other noises throughout the night. I usually sleep soundly, but I woke up several times here. There were also visible orange stains on the carpet near the elevator on our floor. The swimming pool area could use some improvements. There was no changing room, and no clear information provided in advance, so we ended up having to change in the toilets—where the door also didn’t lock properly. Since there are no showers or designated facilities, I wasn’t sure if it was acceptable to use the white towels and walk back to my floor in a swimsuit. I did, but it felt awkward in the shared corridors. A small notice or clearer guidance would help.Breakfast was average. On the first morning, all of the hot dishes were cold apart from the potatoes, so after that I stuck to cereals for the rest of the stay. The biggest disappointment was the lack of proper cooking equipment in the apartment. There was a scratched pan, no oil, salt, pepper, sponge, strainer, large bowl, or decent knives. For a three-night stay in Ottawa, I wasn’t expecting to have to go out and buy basics. I understand these are meant to be independent apartments, but given the Hilton brand and the price, I expected better preparation.
