I am very picky

Liked: The hotel was gorgeous; modern and well appointed. It was really nice to have a full breakfast from 7am-10:30 so you could sleep in; great night's sleep. Lovely little kitchen w/refrigerator, stove top, microwave.
Disliked: NO! I loved it all.

A very good base in...

Liked: Large room - big enough for 3 adults, fridge and kitchenette. Lobby and seating space, gym.
Disliked: Breakfast was limited and very crowded.

Clean, centrally located, free breakfast.

Liked: It was located within walking distance of a lot of NYC sites. Easy access to the subway. Clean and well-maintained inside and the room was a good size for Manhattan. Free breakfast.
Disliked: Could’ve used slightly heavier blankets on the bed. Next door to the hotel, There are a few uninhabited buildings with scaffolding outside. During our stay, a handful of homeless folks were loitering about the area at all hours using it for shelter and recreational drug use (meth/crack). I’m not sure that the hotel can do much about it because it wasn’t happening in front of the hotel and the unhoused people have nowhere else to go… not sure that involving the police would help. The presence of unhoused people wasn’t a huge problem for me because I’m a medical provider and used to interacting with them. But my kids insisted on avoiding the area because on one occasion one of the guys wasn’t looking where he was going, ran into me, and nearly knocked me over.

GREAT STAY! Location was close...

Liked: Location was close to attractions. Very easy to get an Uber. Staff was friendly. Facilities was clean. Best part was every other day maid service. Late-check out to 1 PM was the added value. It was much appreciated as well.
Disliked: The only downside was the homeless close to the building. It did look like some were drug users. That was the only draw-back for this location. I would still stay here again though.

Loved the hotel not the...

Liked: Friendly, efficient staff
Disliked: The walk from the corner to the hotel is very frightening due to the large population of homeless on the sidewalk. Our final night there we had to walk in the street.

Excellent vacation stay to be...

Liked: Very nice, clean and adequate accommodations. Glad to use the washer and dryer, although 2 of 3 dryers were down. Exercise room looked nice, but I got my exercise getting in triple the amount of steps I usually get in! Breakfast was very good, lots of options for any taste or preference. It is a busy hotel, but it was not hard to get seated. I felt very safe and well attended to by the staff. Great team, all around.
Disliked: Environs (completely outside the control of the hotel), had homeless and drug users, but this is par for a good part of the city.
