Exceptional

Nice stay but not worth...

Liked: I believe we stayed here before but did not really like it then either. But, the receptionist staff are all right, check in was smooth. However, we requested foam pillows which were being placed in the room when we got there, just not on both beds! Good thing I brought my own pillow. The pool was a good size but there were only two towels when we went down to use both the pool and fitness center. Although the fitness center has some good machines and weights, a key machine was out of service. The room was spacious enough but the whole place needs updating and better beds as well as better lighting. The hotel is in a great location close to shopping and restaurants as well as the universities. All in all it was a pleasant stay, just not work the money.
Disliked: The beds were really hard and although there were 2 foam pillows placed as requested, our whole family is allergic to down. We had 4 people staying in that room---good thing I had my own pillow. The walls were paper thin and we could hear everything next door. I can't say there was much I didn't like, it just wasn't worth the money we spent.

Liked: The breakfast was amazing! The front desk clerks were very friendly and the rooms were spacious and beyond what I expected.

After staying there 3x and...

Liked: Nice property. Nice rooms. Close to Utica University where our son goes.
Disliked: Absolutely no insulation between floors and walls. You hear EVERYTHING. You hear every step above you and in the hall. Seems like they cut cost when building. In a previous stay we had to change rooms because of loud music and smell of weed on the floor. Front desk said that locals stay on the weekends with friends and have their kids play in the pool. It’s a shame because it’s a nice hotel.

Disliked: MY THERMOSTAT WAS BROKEN AND STUCK AT 90 DEGREES, AND THE FRIDGE MADE A LOUD KNOCKING NOISE THAT KEOT ME UP

Disliked: Had a bunch of kids hockey teams there and they were loud all night long and playing hockey in hallways all day but kids will be kids

Would stay again. Nice hotel...

Liked: Breakfast was good. So nice to have the charging phone pad in the room. Wish there had a couple bottles of water. Having EV chargers in the parking lot was awesome.

Terribly Disappointed

Disliked: Hotel was dirty, elevator was disgusting, room was dirty, not what I expected.
