Exceptional

Not exactly an elevated experience.

Liked: We spent a fairly standard week in a double queen room, and while the overall experience was average, there were a few worthwhile mentions. We really appreciated the spacious room layout - having a separate bedroom was a bonus. The beds and linens were comfortable and made for a restful stay. The ceiling fan meant we didn't need to listen to noisy AC while trying to sleep. Housekeeping only showed up once during the entire week, but we were grateful for that one visit!One standout was a particularly friendly and helpful front desk staff member. I wish I could remember his name, because he truly deserves recognition. He clearly enjoyed his job and went out of his way to assist us - offering great advice on sightseeing in Nashville, handing out maps, parking tips, and even sharing discount codes for the trolley. Big kudos to him.
Disliked: Most of the staff seemed disengaged, doing the bare minimum with little enthusiasm or friendliness. The room itself felt tired and outdated, with a drab mix of beige and brown that made the space feel even more worn. The sofa was so uncomfortable we tried using it as a bed - only to find it was even worse in that form. Thankfully, we didn’t need to sleep on it.The kitchen had potential, but it was essentially useless due to the lack of proper cookware/silverware. A badly scratched (toxic coated) non-stick pan - which felt unsafe to use - so we ended up buying a $2 stainless steel pan from Goodwill just to cook something. On arrival we had to call and ask housekeeping to supply us with more silverware - one fork and two mix-matched spoons were all we had. Clearly, little thought or care goes into equipping the kitchen for actual use.Breakfast was the usual boring experience that most chain hotels offer: uninspiring and lacking in healthy options. Fresh fruit like berries and melons ran out daily, while sugary items and disposable plastic cutlery were in endless supply. It felt wasteful and impersonal. Why not provide real cutlery and plates, and hire staff to clear tables and manage proper dishware? It would elevate the experience and reduce plastic waste at the same time.

I will definitely stay here...

Beautiful hotel, great location and...

Liked: I really liked the location. It is not an overly busy area, which is nice. The whole hotel is really beautifully decorated. Everything was clean and the staff was very nice and responsive to all of our needs. We rented the one-bedroom suite with two king beds and a pull-out bed. We had 6 people total, and the room fit our needs for space, privacy very well. The pool was great! And the breakfast was nice, well done. Highly recommend this hotel!
Disliked: I can't think of anything that I didn't like or that bothered me about the stay. I am a germaphobe and have a bit of anxiety when staying at hotels; however, I didn't feel grossed out really. The hotel felt very clean, and I was comfortable the whole time.

Disliked: the phone in the room did not work to call front desk, the pull out bed got stuck and the air-condition did not let you adjust the temp with out being overridden. The room never cooled down and the bath room did not have a fan so the room got even hotter after showers
