Homewood Suites By Hilton Kansas City Speedway

Horrible, this homewood suite location...

Disliked: The room was dirty.There were stains on the carpet and on the walls. The furniture was damaged.As were the cabinets in the kitchenet. The building in its entirety is in need of major repairs.Also, the receptionist when I was checking in what's on her phone. Talking to someone and watching tv on her ipad. Very little customer service and quite rude.Then when I went up to my room one of the room keepers was vacuuming the hallway at ten o'clock at night. That is unacceptable.The breakfast was horrible. You're not even close to what i'm used to when I stay at homewood suite locations. The breakfast that I had was like one you would get at a holiday inn.Honestly, I am highly disappointed in this Homewood Suites location. I have stayed in their locations before they're usually very clean and high-end. However, this one was akin to a super eight - or low-level hotel like a one-star.

Liked: The Walmart is right next door
Disliked: The lobby wasn't very clean. The swimming pool has a lot of rust around the pool. The room is outdated, the furniture is really old looking. The carpet was dirty in the hallway and in the room. And the ice machine was broken with yellow tape going everywhere. It looked like a crime scene. My wife and I will never come back to this hotel.

Liked: It was clean, location was good, bathroom was nice and looked to be newly updated.
Disliked: Had a full kitchen but no silverware, ottoman in the room needs to go, it was useless and water damaged and just plain ugly, breakfast wasn’t very good. The fabric benches in dining area were stained and filthy.

Disliked: Power was out so we couldn’t have breakfast or use most of the facility

Nice for a week away...

Liked: Excellent area, close to restaurants and/fast food, Walmart Target and other shopping places, without the congestion. Nice park close by. The new speedway was another attraction.
Disliked: N/A

Liked: Staff were very helpful. We went in the room and it was clean.
Disliked: I think the price could be a little cheaper. And my refund for the room could be quicker.
