Homewood Suites by Hilton Indianapolis Downtown IUPUI offers a relaxed, all-suite experience just west of downtown Indianapolis. With a modern, homey vibe and easy access to the city’s entertainment district, it’s a great base for music lovers looking to be close to the action but still enjoy a quiet night’s sleep.
Located less than a mile from major downtown venues like Lucas Oil Stadium and the Indiana State Museum, this hotel is ideally situated for catching a show without a long trek back. Suites come with full kitchens – perfect for late-night snacks – and the front desk is open 24/7, so you can roll in after a late encore with no stress. Guests love the quiet atmosphere away from noisier nightlife zones, and the indoor pool is a welcome bonus for unwinding post-show.
While there’s no on-site restaurant, each suite includes a fully equipped kitchen – ideal for those who prefer late-night cooking or delivery. The hotel also features a grill area and is within walking distance of several casual eateries and bars. Breakfast is available and appreciated by guests needing a slow start after a late night.
Though the hotel itself is more focused on comfort than parties, it’s just a short walk or ride to downtown bars, lounges, and live music spots. Whether you're into intimate jazz clubs or buzzing rooftop bars, you'll find plenty to do nearby before or after your concert.
Travelers love the spacious rooms, friendly staff, and central but quiet location. The in-room kitchens are a big hit with guests attending multi-day events, and many comment on how clean and comfortable the hotel feels. The indoor pool is another favorite, especially for winding down after a night out.
Some guests have noted that parking can be a bit pricey and that the hotel doesn’t have a bar or late-night restaurant on-site. But with plenty of options nearby and the ability to cook in your room, most find it a minor inconvenience.
A peaceful, all-suite stay just minutes from Indy’s top concert venues – perfect for fans who want comfort, convenience, and a little space to recover.

Very good
Liked: Clean, comfortable, well situated to walk downtown, and close to IU Indy
Disliked: Room was delayed when we got there, but ready within 20 minutes. A maintenance person came to fix a curtain rod within minutes of entering the room, he said he fixed it and left, but we found the broken one in our bedroom area after he left, so it was not fixed. I did report it to desk staff upon checkout.

Staff very helpful, location perfect...
Liked: Nice double room overlooking the canal. Very close to IU Indy. Breakfast adequate, kitchenette very small with a hot plate, large microwave and fridge plus dishwasher. There seemed to be a shortage in the hotel if forks, only plastic in breakfast and none in our room.
Disliked: The aircon was extremely loud in our room.
