Liked: Staff was exceptional. Very friendly people.
Disliked: Would like to start of first by saying, I am not a “complaining” kind of person. Usually if something is mediocre, I will deal with it. With that said. Having an overall score of 9, my expectations were moderately high. And I am not a high standard person. Anyways, I check in. The staff right off the bat was insanely nice and friendly, no complaints at all. I then head to my room and walk in and I am immediately caught off guard due to the scent of the room. I cannot describe what the smell was, humidity ? Mold? I am unsure. I immediately go to turn the air down and the air was set at 64 though the temperature read 72. First impressions were an immediate sigh. So I give it about 30 minutes to maybe let it cool down the room. 30 minutes go by and the air doesn’t drop at all. Again, I am not a big complaining person but I had to say something. So I go to the front desk and tell the receptionist and she sends the maintenance guy. He comes and checks it out (looks at it for 2 seconds) and proceeds to tell me that “due to the humidity outside, it takes a while to get colder” which, he’s not wrong but by now it had already been atleast an hour. So I let another 30 minutes go by and I couldn’t take it. So I go back and tell the receptionist that the air still hadn’t changed and the smell was unpleasant and just wanted a room change. He graciously put me in another room. I go to the new room, air works fine but again, the smell in the room was odd. (Note I did not select smoking rooms). It definitely wasn’t as bad at the first one but my goodness. I feel so bad writing this because the staff was GREAT. Very friendly people but the hotel itself just seemed sub par. Also note: there were fans placed in the hallways and this was during the heat of the summer so maybe I am being too critical and the hotel was having air issues? The worst complaint was just the smell.

Liked: The property was very clean, and I was impressed with the fresh fruit salad at the complimentary breakfast.
Disliked: The streets around the property are laid out oddly, and it’s easy to drive past the entrance

Liked: Staff were all friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. Room was much larger than expected and was a welcome addition to our stay. Hotel is located central to shopping and dining but out of the way of the busyness of traffic.
Disliked: We do not have any complaints about this property.

Met my expectations while visiting...

Liked: Excellent selection of quality breakfast item.

Second time we’ve stayed and...

Liked: The room was huge and very comfortable.

Okay stay with less flexibility

Liked: New area and welcome gift
Disliked: We arrived later in the night and asked for a late check out. This was not possible to clarify in advance, instead we should sleep a few hours and call then at 8 am. I think specifically for guests like us staff should act flexible with the arrival. Bed mattress been too soft.
