Friendly staff. Maintenance and cleanliness...

Liked: the staff was super friendly and the location so close to the airport was convenient for a flight cancellation.
Disliked: The room was dirty; the floors, curtains, carpet, and furniture were stained.

Decent main bedrooms but unacceptably...

Liked: Main bed and bedroom was very comfy. Front desk staff lady very friendly and did what she could. Room quiet enough if not directly facing freeway. Decent lights in rooms. Pool area would be pretty nice on warm days. Super convenient to rental car return at airport for an early flight out.
Disliked: The meh: Sparse breakfast. Coffee station in morning not refreshed (odd for a hotel near airport). Almost nonexistent housekeeping. Kitchen utensils very sparse (only silverware and stirring spoons. Not even a can-opener or kitchen sponge).THE UNACCEPTABLE: Kitchen pots and utensils dirty and greasy. But the worst: the hideabed was DISGUSTING. We're talking multicolored stains, burn marks, food bits and crumbs, human hairs, and a cover-sheet that was similarly dirty and stained. Mattress broken down to a thin, spiky-springed mat. Some of the couch's cross-supports for bed were missing and others were broken. I don't expect much from a hideabed but this one was destroyed and filthy. Would be safer and more comfortable for the two pre-teens with us to sleep on the bare ground. The single front desk staff found us a replacement by pulling a slightly cleaner one from another room (no rollaways or spares available). We put it on the floor. She carted away the old one but now the couch was unusable without that supporting feature. I wanted to to pursue a better solution the next day but there was no manager available to work with after 4pm when we were there; the hotel felt deserted except for the single poor lady at the front desk.This hotel experience left a real sour mark on our otherwise great trip to Dallas. I'm furious at myself for choosing it, we had many better options. Even if we got a "bum room" due to eclipse bookings, there's no excuse for the total lack of cleanliness and lack of staff to help.

Pleasant experience

Liked: The hotel was a pleasant surprise and a great experience. The room was spacious, modern and well appointed. The breakfast was well presented and tasty. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Liked: I liked the separation of rooms - privacy.
Disliked: No dish towel first night. Only 1 face towel most people like their own face towel. Next day cleaners left 1 towel 1 bath rag , no face towel, no floor towel and when we asked front desk there were not any available. Expectedto share. :(

Exceptional

Liked: The hotel was clean.
Disliked: Just make sure to bring your own towels.

Fine and I would stay...

Liked: Breakfast was good. The waffle bar was delicious! The room was clean.
Disliked: The view could have been better. We had a view of the basketball court. The table lamps didn't work but the floor lamp did and it provided us with ample lighting.
